Solarus March Mania Winner Selects Local Cancer Fund to Receive Winnings
WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Al Haasl has a passion for helping cancer patients. As a “consolation winner” in the Solarus March Mania contest, Al was able to turn that passion into action.
The contest awards Solarus customers who place 10th, 50th and 100th with the opportunity to select a non-profit of their choice to receive a $250 donation in their name.
On April 13, Al delivered his winnings to Aspirus Riverview Foundation’s Cancer Patient Fund. The fund helps local patients who need financial assistance with costs related to their cancer treatment.
Aspirus Riverview Foundation strives to support community-based efforts that align with improving the community's greatest health and wellness needs.
