New surgical instruments & equipment for Aspirus Medford Hospital

Pictured with the endoscope reprocessor is General Surgeon Clint Semrau, DO; Operating Room Technicians Sara Niemi and Cheryl Kropp; and Aspirus Medford Foundation Chair Randy Juedes.

Donors to the Aspirus Medford Foundation provided all of the funding to purchase a set of laparoscopic instruments and an endoscope reprocessor for the benefit of Aspirus Medford Hospital’s surgeons and surgical patients.

A laparoscope is a thin, lighted scope that magnifies images of the inside of the body and sends those images to a video screen, allowing the surgeon to navigate.

The automated endoscope reprocessor is used to disinfect scopes and accessories to prepare the instruments for use in a surgical or laparoscopic procedure.

If you’d like to contribute to the Aspirus Medford Foundation, all donations, great and small, are graciously accepted to help heal people and promote health.
