Moderna COVID-19 boosters, Pfizer pediatric vaccinations in Rhinelander

Aspirus Health will offer Moderna COVID-19 booster vaccines for qualifying adults and Pfizer Pediatric vaccines (ages 5-11) in Rhinelander. Appointments are required for all locations and will be scheduled based on vaccine availability. 

Moderna boosters are being offered on Tuesday’s and Thursdays from 8:45-11:30 a.m. at Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic-North Shore Drive, located on the campus of Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital at 2251 North Shore Drive. Pfizer Pediatric vaccines for children ages 5-11 years old will be available at Aspirus Rhinelander Clinic-North Shore Drive, on Thursday, December 16 from 1:30-4 p.m. Appointments can be scheduled directly online by using MyAspirus (myaspirus.org) or the MyAspirus Mobile App or by calling 715.361.4092. 

The Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has authorized booster vaccines for individuals 65 years and older, residents in long-term care settings, people with certain medical conditions and adults who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of an occupational or institutional setting. U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has endorsed a recommendation to vaccinate children ages 5-11 against COVID-19. A smaller dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is authorized for use with this age group.
