STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital’s New Moms Class brought a burst of Halloween joy to the Garden Room this week, transforming the space into a festive haven of creativity, connection, and cuteness. The Wednesday morning gathering featured a themed craft activity titled “Smell Our Feet,” which invited parents to create playful keepsakes with their little ones. The celebration continued with a lively costume party, complete with seasonal snacks and an array of adorable baby outfits that stole the show.
Photos from the event captured the warmth and laughter shared among participants, highlighting the supportive and spirited atmosphere that defines the New Moms Class.
Held weekly on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., the New Moms Class offers a welcoming environment for parents and babies under 20 pounds to bond, share experiences, and access helpful resources, including baby weigh-ins. Weather permitting, the group often concludes with a stroller walk, encouraging fresh air, movement, and community-building.
"Whether it’s a stroller walk or a themed craft, every week we aim to offer connection, support, and a little fun. These gatherings help new parents feel seen, heard, and celebrated,” said Lora Harris, Lactation Consultant and Perinatal Education Coordinator for the Women and Infant Center at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital.
