Aspirus Medford Hospital welcomes new member to anesthesia team

Jerry Jurecic, CRNA

Aspirus Medford Hospital recently welcomed Jerry Jurecic, CRNA, to its anesthesia team. As a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), he administers anesthetics in a variety of practice settings and for a wide range of surgeries and procedures.

Jurecic comes to Aspirus Medford Hospital with over 14 years of health care experience. He’s provided anesthesia services at Marquette General Hospital in Michigan since 2013. He also has experience providing registered nursing care in intensive and critical care environments.

“I enjoy caring for people and making a sometimes stressful situation as peaceful and pain free as I can,” Jurecic said.

A board-certified CRNA, Jurecic is also certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and the neonatal resuscitation program. He earned his nursing degree from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich., and his master’s degree in nurse anesthesia from Oakland University in Rochester, Mich.

Jurecic describes himself as a kind, easygoing and compassionate person, and a devoted follower of Jesus. His hobbies include hunting, going for walks and building things. He also enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Brianna.
