Aspirus Medford Hospital welcomes new member to anesthesia team

Steven Hadlock, CRNA

Aspirus Medford Hospital recently welcomed Steven Hadlock, CRNA, as the newest member of its anesthesia team. As a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA), Hadlock administers anesthetics in a variety of practice settings and for a wide range of surgeries and procedures.

Hadlock comes to Aspirus Medford Hospital with over 27 years of health care experience. A CRNA since 2004, he provided anesthesia services at Marshfield Clinic for the past 14 years. He also has experience providing registered nursing care in emergency and surgical intensive care environments.

“I like the challenge of delivering the best anesthetic I can to my patients at a very stressful time in their life,” Hadlock said. “I find it rewarding to take a patient through all phases of the surgical procedure from pre-op to post-op. I take pride in the care and anesthetic I deliver to my patients.”

A board-certified CRNA, Hadlock is also certified in basic life support, advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support. He earned his nursing degree from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and his master’s degree in nurse anesthesia from Saint Mary’s University in Minneapolis, Minn.

An easygoing person, Hadlock enjoys riding his Harley, exercising, grilling and cooking outdoors, traveling with his family and reading. He and his wife, Paulette, have two sons – ages 14 and 11 – who keep them busy with their school activities and sporting events.
