Aspirus Medford Foundation announces new board members

The Aspirus Medford Foundation recently welcomed four directors to its board: Brenda Hedlund, David Hraby, Molly Knoll and Tim Rau.

“On behalf of the Foundation, I’d like to welcome Brenda, David, Molly and Tim,” said Luke Dixon, Aspirus Medford Foundation chair. “They are qualified, well-respected members of our community. We appreciate their willingness, enthusiasm and commitment to the health and well-being of the communities we serve.”

Brenda Hedlund is a licensed insurance agent.  She advises clients on their Medicare and individual health insurance needs.  Brenda embraces the opportunity to give back to her community and feels fortunate to have access to high quality healthcare locally.  Brenda and her husband Brian have four grown children.  She enjoys walking and swimming and is an active member of Kiwanis.

David Hraby is a Financial Advisor with Thrivent.  Dave anticipates contributing to a ‘small town’ organization that he views as sincere, personable, and professional.  Dave and his wife Tracy have a son and a daughter.  Dave enjoys his kids’ sporting events, fishing, Brewers’ baseball, NHRA drag racing and working out at the gym.  Dave is also affiliated with St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Northcentral Technical College.

Molly Knoll is a Commercial Lender at Forward Bank in Medford.  She appreciates that Aspirus’s infrastructure makes quality healthcare readily available locally.  On the Foundation board, Molly hopes to promote the continued growth and expansion of Aspirus’s services and resources.  Molly and her husband Jon have two children. They enjoy golfing, traveling and ‘lake time’.  Molly is an active member of the Tee-Hi Club and the Neighbor to Neighbor program.

Tim Rau is a Sales Manager at CentralStar Co-op.  He was born at Aspirus Medford Hospital, as were his four children.  His wife, Jill, works as a Medical Receptionist for Aspirus Medford.  Tim anticipates being an active member of the foundation and continuing its efforts to support our community and promote health.  Outside of work, Tim enjoys golfing, playing pool, running marathons and biking.

Other directors of the Aspirus Medford Foundation board are: Luke Dixon, chair; Brent Arndt, vice chair; Kris O’Leary, secretary; Patricia Krause, treasurer; Jill Dassow, member-at-large; Sue Ackerman; Jane DeStaercke; Janie Grunwald; Kaci Klemm; Roxy Robida and Cheryl Steliga.
