Amy Arnold, APNP, Receives OME Collaboration Award

The Aspirus Office
of Medical Education (OME) is recognizing collaboration and contributions made
by Aspirus Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) as clinical
teachers for medical students and advance practice clinician students.
This is the 4th year
OME has recognized these efforts throughout the Aspirus system.
This year’s
Collaboration Award goes to Amy Arnold, Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner
from the Aspirus Portage Clinic.
Amy uses student,
academic or clinical partnership to advance Aspirus academic clinical medicine.
One nurse
practitioner student said, “Amy is not only an incredibly knowledgeable and
thorough provider with amazing bedside manner, but she is also an excellent
preceptor. I am learning more than I ever have before and I wish she could be
my preceptor for the entirety of my program. She is very informative, patient,
and I can tell she really cares about helping me reach my goals. If I had kids,
I would be lucky to have someone like Amy be their provider. I am so glad I had
the pleasure of learning from Amy. I am really enjoying my time with her in the
clinic, and I hope one day I can provide excellent care like her!”
