All COVID-19 vaccine doses available through Aspirus

Appointments can be scheduled through Aspirus for all types of COVID-19 vaccinations. This includes first and second doses for ages 12+, booster doses for those who are eligible and pediatric Pfizer doses for children ages 5-11.

The best way for adults to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments is via the MyAspirus app or patient portal at myaspirus.org. You do not need to be an existing Aspirus patient to use MyAspirus and creating a new account is easy through the portal.

Appointments are also available by calling the Aspirus COVID-19 Call Center at 844-568-0701 or 715-843-1454. This is the recommended option for scheduling child vaccinations, as parent/guardian consent is required.

Patients of Ascension Wisconsin locations that recently joined Aspirus can call their local clinic for COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

The type of vaccine available may vary by Aspirus vaccination location, so people are encouraged to verify availability prior to scheduling.

Community members can also request a flu shot from Aspirus during either of the appointment scheduling options for added convenience. It is safe to receive the COVID-19 and influenza vaccine at the same time.

Current Recommendations

The CDC recommends the following:

  • Everyone age 5+ is eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Only a lower dose Pfizer vaccine is currently approved for kids age 5-11.
  • Those who initially received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines may receive a booster dose 6 months after completing their original series for: people 65 years and older, residents in long-term care settings and people aged 18–64 years with underlying medical conditions.
  • Those who received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine may receive a booster at least 2 months after the initial dose.
  • Individuals can choose which type of vaccine they receive as a booster.

Aspirus asks community members to have patience during the scheduling process, as its Call Center and care settings are dealing with high demand for testing appointments and other care needs.
