Aspirus Upper Peninsula hospitals come together to help local families in need

Aspirus Keweenaw, Ontonagon, Ironwood and Iron River are joining together to collect non-perishable food items at all Aspirus locations. Aspirus employees, patients and the community are invited to join in the effort to help provide food for local families in need. Aspirus locations will be collecting donations through December 2.

In addition to non-perishable food items, monetary donations are also welcome. All proceeds will benefit local food pantries.

“This is one of the many great ways we come together to help give back to the community,” said Jenn Jenich-Laplander, Regional Communications and Community Engagement Lead. “Our mission is to heal people, promote health and strengthen communities, and doing something like this is especially important around the holidays as it makes a big difference in the lives of local families in need.”

Anyone who wishes to donate to the food and fund drive is welcome to drop off their donations at Aspirus locations in the Upper Peninsula, which include:
