Aspirus Medical Group Southeast Division Presents Two DAISY Awards

Congratulations to Ann Fletcher, Registered Nurse with Aspirus Plover Clinic Walk-In and Claudine Taub, Registered Nurse with Aspirus Stevens Point Dermatology. Ann and Claudine are the most recent winners of the Aspirus Medical Group Southeast Division DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.

Ann was nominated by a young patient's mother, who wrote:

Ann was so great with my 4-year-old son while we were there. She spoke to him at his level, found ways to relate to him, was so comforting and calm when he was worked up about a blood draw, and so much more. She made us feel like we were her own loved ones she was caring for - that is how truly genuine the experience was. She helped my mama heart feel better by sharing her own tough experiences as a mom. I wanted to hug her! Later when we returned for visit #2, she just happened to be standing up front. Like the angel she is, she jumped right in and took the time to get my son the proper care needed. She even remembered my son's name! I’ll never forget that whole experience, ever. Thank you, Ann!

Claudine was nominated by her co-workers, who wrote:

Claudine is always willing to do whatever it takes to provide excellent patient care. She is a true team player and always puts the patient first. When a patient needed to be seen on a day the clinic was closed, Claudine came in and played the roles of patient liaison, MA, RN, and housekeeper.

Claudine Taub, on multiple occasions, has gone above and beyond. Claudine recently reduced her FTE and originally asked not to go over her hours. On a regular basis, Claudine has done just the opposite. A patient was scheduled for a patch test on a Monday. This means that the read needs to happen on Friday. Dermatology is normally closed on Friday. However, Claudine came in on her day off to assist the provider, along with adding on a few more urgent patients who needed to be seen. Claudine is a wonderful team player.
