Aspirus Heart & Vascular Institute is proud to bring the expertise of the Pediatric Cardiologists from the University of Wisconsin’s American Family Children’s Hospital  to our Pediatric Cardiology Clinic.

The following UW Health physicians provide pediatric cardiology services to children with heart related conditions:

J. Carter Ralphe, MD
Dr. Ralphe is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. He obtained his MD from the State University of New York, and completed his pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at the University of Iowa. He is interested in
all forms of congenital heart disease, with a specific research interest in heart failure and
cardiomyopathies.


Allen Wilson, MD

Dr. Wilson is a Professor of Pediatrics at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health with extensive experience in the diagnosis and care of infants and children with congenital heart defects. He has provided pediatric cardiology care in the Wausau region for over a decade. He has a particular interest in exercise physiology.
