Heart & Vascular Institute

Research

The Aspirus Heart & Vascular Institute develops research and education initiatives through the Cardiovascular Research & Education (CaRE) Foundation. The foundation strives to find better ways of preventing, diagnosing and treating heart disease and educating the public with its findings. Research efforts involve medications, treatment options and new advances in hopes of improving cardiovascular care and prevention for residents of the communities we serve.

Solving tomorrow’s problems today

Foundation research focuses on studies whose results can be immediately applied to clinical practice, providing patients with the benefits of the latest clinical knowledge. Since July 1996, the CaRE Foundation has participated in dozens of clinical trials.
