Disco Cures Cancer
The 16th annual Disco Cures Cancer event, hosted by Midwest Communications and WIFC, was held on October 18, 2013 at The Patriot Center in Rothschild. More than 500 guests attended the event, which generated $10,395 to benefit the Aspirus Regional Cancer Center and support patients and their families in our region. A special check presentation was held on November 15 to celebrate Midwest Communication and WIFC’s partnership with Aspirus to help patients and families cope and fight during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

About the Event
Disco Cures Cancer features, dancing, music, and eccentric costumes from the 1970s, and the party goes from 7 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $25 each and sold at County Market, WIFC offices in Wausau and Plover, and online at WIFC's Web site. A few tickets may also be available at the door.
