Welcome to the 2013 Aspirus Women’s Golf Classic. Funds this year will be used for a NICView camera system for the Anya Marie Jackson Newborn ICU at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
The camera system promotes family bonding by providing parents real-time viewing of their infant in the Newborn ICU or Pediatric Unit. This is done through a secure video stream over the web that parents can use to see their baby.
Last year's event
In 2012, $84,000 was raised through the Aspirus Women’s Golf Classic to create a unique wellness program tailored to each woman’s needs around nutrition and lifestyle choices.

The 2011 event raised nearly $81,000 to help create a 10-bed Women's Care Unit at Aspirus Wausau Hospital dedicated to:
Providing specialized care for a woman’s physical recovery during hospitalization for specific health conditions unique to women, including: high-risk pregnancy, hysterectomy and bladder surgery.
Creating a quiet, warm and home-like environment to actively support a woman’s need for emotional healing.
Funds were used to create a Traumatic Event Room in the Aspirus Wausau Hospital Emergency Department. The room isolates patients experiencing traumatic events like miscarriage or sexual assault from the noise and commotion of a busy emergency department and places them in a private, calming environment. Proceeds also were used to help purchase special medical equipment designed specifically for the unique treatment and evaluation of these patients.
Funds from the event were uses to purchase two special giraffe beds for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. The beds have provided more than 50 critically ill and premature newborns with the specialized care they needed to obtain maximum health.
