Congratulations to our 2012 Lighting the Way to Health Champtions: Dr. Mark Mirick, Physician Champion, and Lane & Linda Ware, Community Champions! They were joined by our 2011 Champions, Dr. John Hugus, and Brian & Sandy Gumness of the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation, at the Aspirus Health Foundation Lighting the Way to Health Donor Appreciation Event on October 1, 2012, at the Jefferson Street Inn.

Primrose Retirement Center

Thank you to the residents of Primrose Retirement Center who were busy selling pink-themed items during National Breast Cancer Awareness month and raised $505 to support breast health efforts at the Aspirus Women's Health Breast Center. We are grateful for their generosity and partnership in raising awareness of this important cause!

Verve Salon & Spa

Thank you to our friends at Verve Salon & Spa for giving back to help women in our region prevent breast cancer. Through their Mammos and Makeovers Party this summer and their pink hair extensions events this October, Verve raised $1,535 to support breast health efforts at Aspirus.

Renaissance Assisted Living

Thank you to the staff and residents at Renaissance Assisted Living who had fun and raising $360 for breast health initiatives at Aspirus Women’s Health by selling pink wristbands and holding a penny war between residents and guests vs. staff.
