The nephrologists offer evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with kidney disease. Evaluation is available for disorder of fluid and electrolyte / acid-base metabolism. Treatment of acute, chronic and end-stage renal failure by hemodialysis, intermittent peritoneal dialysis and chronic ambulatory peritoneal dialysis is also available.
Evaluation for kidney transplantation in conjunction with the transplantation team and follow-up medical care for kidney transplant recipients is provided in conjunction with UW Health and other transplant centers.
Dialysis and hemoperfusion service is available for patients exposed to toxins or drug overdoses.
