FREE mammograms and breast care for women
who can’t afford them

Aspirus Women’s Health is offering FREE mammograms and diagnostic services for women who cannot afford them.

If you have not gotten a routine mammogram, or you have not had a breast problem checked out because:

• You do not have insurance
• Your insurance doesn’t cover a mammogram
• You cannot afford your deductible
• You are worried about the cost of care if more testing or treatment is needed
• You do not live close to a place where you can get a mammogram
• You cannot afford the travel to a place where you can get a mammogram

To Qualify

To qualify for a FREE “routine” annual screening mammogram
and/or a breast exam with your provider

Free annual mammograms and appointments for breast exams are available to women 40 or older who meet financial qualifications.

If you have a new breast problem*

You can receive FREE diagnostic testing, including an appointment with an Aspirus health care provider, a mammogram, and if needed, a breast ultrasound and a biopsy. There is no age limit, but you must meet financial qualifications.

* Such as a lump, skin, or nipple changes

Transportation assistance and interpreter services are available to program participants. The program does not pay for breast MRI, surgery or cancer treatment.

Komen for the Cure®.  Additional support is provided by Radiology Associates of Wausau, Associates in Pathology, Aspirus Health Foundation, Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Aspirus Clinics, Langlade Hospital, Memorial health Center, park and Associates, and Central Wisconsin Radiologists.
