The Facility

 

The 27,000 square-foot clinic not only provides health care to area patients and education to its residents, but also serves as a resource center.

The facility has a larger, more advanced clinical space and provides advanced training for not only health professionals, but for community health education. It also serves as a local meeting place for the region’s health care community and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health

The facility has several additional functions/luxuries:
  • The ability to host events featuring catered food
  • A 70-seat amphitheater
  • Patient and staff libraries
  • Digital X-ray
  • Teaching labs
  • Learning stations
  • Meeting space for workshops, projects and group visits for patients with chronic conditions
  • Medical teleconferencing
  • Simulation models and exam rooms
  • Community health education classes, workshops and forums
