News:Aspirus Diabetes Education Center
The Aspirus Diabetes Education Center has programs in Wausau, Antigo and Medford, and saw more than 1,100 patients collectively in 2008. The programs are recognized by the American Diabetes Association for outpatient services for adults with Type I, Type II and Gestational diabetes. Type I, Type II, and gestational diabetes patients receive individualized and group self-management education training coordinated by a multi-disciplinary team of Certified Diabetes Educators, Registered Dietitians, and Registered Nurses.
