Holiday grief program offered at The Rose Garden

WAUSAU, Wis. – On December 7, Wings, a Grief Education Ministry and Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services are offering a community program for grieving families.

The program, When the Holidays Hurt – What’s Under Your Tree?, is a way for people dealing with grief to find solace during the holiday season. It runs from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at The Rose Garden, located at 131 West Thomas St. in Wausau.

The program features a workshop with a holiday theme focused on unwrapping 10 reasons why you should celebrate the holidays. The workshop is intended to help people deal with their grief and turn any painful reminders into inspiration and hope.

The cost for this event is free, and no registration is required.
