Jan 18, 2013

WAUSAU, Wis. – Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services is offering a free six-week series for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one, regardless of the circumstances of death.

The series, Getting Back to Life – After Loss, features weekly sessions of education and support for grief, loss and transition. The first session meets Feb. 12 and the following sessions meet each Tuesday thereafter through March 19.

Each session runs from 6:30-8 p.m. at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in the Quality Services conference room located on Level 0, near the main entrance.

The series allows people to learn, share feelings and ask questions to gather hints about picking up the pieces after loss.

Facilitators Nan and Gary Zastrow will not advise or counsel. They are present to listen, teach and share grief experiences. Pre-registration is not required, but it is recommended.
