Community Outreach

Through the effort of the volunteers, over 900 personal emergency response units are provided to subscribers of the Lifeline Program, on a rental basis throughout Marathon and Lincoln Counties.

HANDS Project

In 1995, the Research and Development Committee of the Aspirus Volunteers created an outreach program that would help to protect the health of children in our community by placing emphasis on wellness and disease prevention by teaching good handwashing skills.  Since that time, volunteers have gone into pre-school and third grade classrooms to deliver this message through a hands-on program that involves over 1,000 children each year.
