* Appointment and medical health screening with our Employee Health office
* Completion of the State of Wisconsin caregiver background check form
* Successful completion of Aspirus Riverview Hospital orientation and competencies
* Commitment of volunteer service for a minimum of three months
Our mission statement is, "Aspirus Riverview Auxiliary will provide service to Aspirus Riverview Hospital and promote the health and welfare of the community."
Since its founding in 1954, our Auxiliary has raised more than $1.2 million for health projects and medical equipment.
Aspirus Riverview Auxiliary is composed of approximately 200 members. Membership is open to all teens and adults who are interested in Aspirus Riverview Hospital and willing to uphold the Auxiliary's mission. Membership dues are:

The Auxiliary Gift Shop is located on the first floor of Aspirus Riverview Hospital and is operated entirely by Auxiliary volunteers. The Gift Shop is open Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (excluding holidays), and carries a wide range of unique gift items.
As an Auxilian, you will meet new people, build friendships and gain great personal rewards from your work. You can decide how much time to volunteer weekly, monthly or for a limited time each year. Our Auxiliary awards scholarships each year to students pursuing education in health care.
Traditional scholarships of $1,000 are awarded each spring to graduating seniors from Lincoln, Assumption, Port Edwards or Nekoosa high schools. In addition, $1,000 scholarships are awarded each fall to nontraditional students age 25 or older who reside in south Wood County and are currently enrolled in a college program carrying a minimum of six credits.
